Hopefully if his pain is related to saying an untruth, this means he will soon figure out how to mislead/deflect/redirect by speaking selective portions of the truth, otherwise people will start being able to read him by just watching for the flinch.
The whispers confirm at least one mystery character’s identity, though. I’m thinking it’s “You guys could get the DOW to spike…” and “I’m flattered” that trigger the falsehood reactions. “Humorous misstatements” is a bit vague, but it looks like an *attempt* to observe that. Pretty sharp at that, after it’s happened only once.
