Zach’s “super truth perception” power is starting to behave like Melissa Hellrune’s wand in Magick Chicks: acting independently of his will. Does this mean he too will get an embarassing costume and a cat? 😀
Was that his phone that dropped? Why wouldn’t they have those auditioning empty their pockets before hooking them up? Seems incredibly irresponsible of them.
Well, this was inevitable. Considering his powers are derived from a truth serum, it seems logical that it makes it difficult for him to say things his super-perception say is not true. This was foreshadowed just a moment ago, when he had difficulty resisting the urge to call his mother out on her ‘lie’.
You mean the Web-Phone doesn’t shoot out webbing to catch itself when it falls? What a ripoff. What good is beating a metaphor to death if you can’t use it to keep your phone from smashing to pieces fifty feet below?
So about ten weeks to go, and he still hasn’t stumbled onto the clues to identify who arranged Stan Lee’s death. But we know now that once he knows he won’t be able to deny he knows.
And how do I know this plot point? Because T Campbell plays fair and because T Campbell left that one dangling even more obviously than poor Zach right now.
You know, it just occurred to me that this is a world where Stan Lee and Ditko are considered to be geniuses of the same caliber as Shakespeare. Is there any possible way I can move to this universe?

Not just his phone, but his keys too. Let’s just hope his wallet didn’t drop as well!
Is he not *already* wearing an embarrassing costume? He just needs to make it a thing.
I assume the cat comes with time.
Off hand, I’d say that his powers of perception are overriding his ability to say things he doesn’t believe or are overly poetic.
Spider-Phone, Spider-Phone, falls and breaks just like a normal phone does.
This reminds me of:
“If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they’ll kill you.” -Oscar Wilde
How did that huge audience suddenly appear?
@ Alice: It depends … is there a Felicia Hardy analog in this universe?

And yes, that’s a good point…when he was being strapped in, those seats were empty. Did they all file in while he was being raised to the ceiling?
It’s InstAudience.â„¢ Just add water and stir.

Looks like the Venom Gang and their leader Granny Gangstah are forcing laughter. Uh oh. JOKER ATTACK.

Liefeld did it.
