Long-time-reader-first-time-(that-I-can-remember)-commentor. I feel as though I might just now have caught something that was obvious to everyone else: is the Di in this strip the FAANS-universe version of DiDi from Menage a 3?* It sort of, er, jumped out at me today that they’re both, ah, similarly proportioned.
* a la Charlotte from Penny and Aggie and her magic-using counterpart in the FAANS universe.
Loving this storyline, by the by; much-awaited payoff to some great build-up.
Do girls have a book of “put down” lines ?? 😀 I remember one girl (the girl) who throwed me that last line too. I’t was a geeky enviroment too. In a different frigging continental mass. T Cambell, stop writing up my life, please!!
@Bobcat2022 – I wouldn’t put it past them. This strip has done tons of tributes. One of my favorites was the catgirls at the con, a tip of the hat to Something Positive.
As for bringing up the elavator incident now, why do that when it could pop up again far into the future for some REAL awkward fun? Like Rikk/Ru’s body swap did.
I’m waiting, T. I’m waiting for the guy with the amazing flying toupee to make an appearance again. He has to be someone important. I’m betting that he’s the next major villain. All bald people are evil, deep down.
This comic is nice. I enjoy it… I knew this Date thing was going to go off without much truble date-wise… Still wish there was something radnom and Action-y to have popped up hafeway though the date would’ve been awesome!
And I agree… Don’t care why the guy with teh phone is taking the photo, You just gotta ask first! Or else your just being rude…
Ahhh, dating is so hard; I’m glad I didn’t have to go through very much of it and that I survived and came out with a good guy. I am wondering why Di’s breasts were made so large and obvious; it this for the guy readers? Lol. Funny comic though; thanks a lot for sharing it with everyone.

Man, Richard, you really think BAXTER is the one convincing DI to date him, there?
The idea behind this story is that, while it seems like Di has all the power (what with her looks, and her less OBVIOUS awkwardness, and her greater– but not that much greater– sexual experience), they’re really both struggling. Yeah, you can’t really argue someone into wanting to be with you. But you can try to reassure them if they may want to be with you, but they’re afraid. Right now, neither of these two are totally sure what they want.

All I have to say is this:
D’awwwwww
so she’s into scary guys? o.O you’ve given her an odd psyche guys
I can’t believe this story arc ends without someone mentioning what happened in the elevator. It would shock me, and that is not a common phenomenon.

The dweeb enthusiastically taking a picture of Di with his phone needs to be just as enthusiastically thrashed by Di to within an inch of his life.
@Graymalkin56: I think its just as likely that the guy reconizes two members of Team Alpha at a table and could be taking BOTH thier pics.

When did the Rikk/Ru bodyswap happen? I think I missed that story.
Huh. I’ve never seen someone defensively grope themselves before.

Baxter needs to move on. Seriously, why would any guy want to have to convince someone to date them like that?
I agree with Clara Hill that dating is hard. I’m married, but when my wife and I dated, we both wanted to be with eachother. There was no convincing.
