Is it just me, or is there a subtle bolding of the text on certain syllables? Either I’m over-thinking, or it’s to emphasize a way of speaking or a hint to what’s coming up. I can’t tell which yet.
It doesn’t particularly matter to the HOJ whether he’s guilty in any legal sense of the word. All they required was someone they could make the public perceive as being guilty, and having escaped from punishment by members of the current law enforcement, specifically AEGIS. If there’s a lack of evidence against him, they’re more than likely able to produce it. The whole point of the exercise is to undermine the credibility and authority of AEGIS.
The fact that something morally wrong *isn’t* illegal or otherwise prosecutable within the rules is one of the major things that drives someone to be a vigilante.
…Wassup? (Couldn’t help myself.)
Alright, so… is he guilty or not? I don’t think the HoJ would be so dumb as to pick an innocent man for their debut, but I could be wrong.
He’s only guilty if using mind control was illegal at the time, which isn’t clear.

He has an accent shown by the bolding, it was the same back when he was first featured.

Seems AEGIS is using a yellow rectangle alien to get baldy out of the line of fire and to get rid of Mumm-ra, the Ever Living Bell Boy

No, not above Crosshatch Man! You’re right in range of his deadly Crosshatch Beam!
Locke personally I can’t wait for us to see what Link’s power is. And weather or not it has you stop calling him Crosshatch Man!
Is it just me, or are Bellhop’s legs on backwards in the last panel? I think the xenochiclet did a President Scrooge on him.
Check it out. Hilda is checking out Marc.
I wonder if the HoJ isn’t targeting him not to punish him but to gain access to his apperent Mind Control tech?
when i’m reading Vermith’s dialogue, i’m thinking of Christopher Walken, and I CANNOT stop laughing
