I would expect that Rikk would already be by Ally’s side… so maybe it really is about him? I agree that it probably has to do with either Rikk or Ally’s pregnancy.
Shanna’s hunch = She’s right. There’s no way THAT’S the betrayal the time travelers mentioned
Ally’s tears = A lesser comic could be expected to play the “hysteric pregnant lady” card, but not Fans! I bet something horrible happened to her children
Reaaaally? We’re going the miscarriage route? Really? I mean… that seems like a mean, insensitive way to put drama in. It was a bad idea when Ctrl+Alt+Del did it, and the only reason this is better is because this is a more serious comic in general.
@Jor You think T would do that? He knows a unnecessary drama when he sees it. He’d NEVER do that to us.
No, Ally’s baby is perfectly fine. I doubt it’s mutated/infected with some disease/ secretly an alien parasite. Those are tears of joy. She’s frowning because she’s suddenly concerned about whatever might be on TV about team Alpha. Ol’ T. is yankin’ our chains, the scoundrel.
He’d NEVER whoop out a last minute plot twist on us, no sir.
I see no comforting Rikk, also Ally is up and walking around and is the one making the call. I’m doubting miscarriage, and leaning something happening to Rikk instead.
no edit? rats. Well, to avoid completely echoing Gundi’s post, I’ve been wondering ever since Bellhop appeared…
Rumy had a kid with a chicklet, didn’t she? Did we ever see what happened to him/her/it? All I can recall is that it, the ‘dad’, and all the other progeny vamoosed into space. …and these cuckoos came from space… Am I grossly overlooking a fact that points out this connection isn’t plausible? It happens a lot.
My guess: her reddish nose plus the “I…we” stammering makes me believe she’s caught that “bug”, either from Rikk or by contact with Feddyg. She looks more constipated than “Rikk / the baby just died ” to me. After all, if she just had an abortion, she wouldn’t even listen to Rumy’s commentary about television, much less be interested in it.
I mean, specially when Rumy says it so matter-of-factly, as if it was just another one of Lance Clarkson’s shenanigans. “Rumy…o-our baby, h- wait, what about the television?”
So yeah, while it’s some problem we don’t know about yet, it’s most likely not a death or anything that serious. Judging by the lack of Aegis agents in that corridor, I’m guessing Rikk isn’t nearby either. If he was laying on a bed, they’d have security around, right? I wonder if it really is just a pregnancy-induced mood swing?
Miscarriage good.
It would mean the timeline has changed… that they’ve done something different this time around and might just win (who am I kidding? of course they win)…
Oh. Oh no.
Well, damn. D:
5-1 says that Rick has at the very least been hospitalized
*agrees with Keairan*
Now the question is… With what? I’m betting some type of super-flu!
I’m betting this has something to do with Ally’s kids. Maybe even the one in her belly.

I can’t be the only one to think some layer was forgot in the second panel, lower right?
Xenochiclets = Some sort of kinship with Bellhop?

Aw, tears of joy! About damn time we got some good news for a change, T! I bet she just got the news that she’s going to have twins!
This is going to be great. Happiness all around!
I really hope nothing’s wrong with the baby

But it’s still a bad idea.

It’s called a silhouette.
My money is still on it’s Rikk that’s in truble!

I still say Bellhop is Gorzynski.
(To break my “Tears of happiness” act, I’d just like to say that I back the “Rikk is sick” idea as well. Plus, it rolls off the tongue better. :P)
Miscarriage good.
