Steel-like filaments? That sounds bad. Also, am I only the only one who thought Rumy’s punting of Link’s head was hilarious. I think it’s the expression on his(its?) face that really gets me.
Wow, the guys were prepared! Now the next worst threat is Animal.
Maybe Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living Bellboy still has a trick or two up his sleeve, but the Blue Alien seems to have him preoccupied enough for now. I realize Weathies isn’t completely down, but he’s definitely against the ropes. MechTech is the villain most likely to pull a nasty trick out of her USB port, but fortunately she’s freaking out right now and that might give the guys a chance to take her out as well.
Curse you, Hilda. Some day soon, you’ll answer for this. Then you’ll know the true power of Crosshatch.
Really, though, I think T. did this just to shut me up. Fine, I get the point. I’ll stop with the Crosshatch Cracks and move on to mocking the mummy. 😛
Steal-like? I guess I was close with the brass guess 😉
@kingleon: You’re probably right. I mean, they have to have a few more encounters with these guys. If they do capture them they have to escape, but winning until Hyperman shows up and smashes them seems likely.
Deus Ex for the bad guys.
I had just come up with the idea that Link’s crosshatching was supposed to represent false shading – that his body doesn’t reflect light, but emits its own, like a hologram. I’m not sure if Hilda’s explanation shoots a hole in my theory or not.
ahhh, uhmmm… Link head was an interface? not made of filaments?
What worries me now is the fact that the teleporter is already back from whereever they send him. Crawling, true, but he is back.
A door can be a weapon if it opens to nasty places.
And i suspect we have two knights knocked out by now.

Yeah, looks like he’s a cy-DERP-netic organism!
Oh, so Link is actually a pun. Heh. I figured he just had a normal name because he was their leader.
Put Link’s head in cryogenic suspension, just like Walt Disney’s (yeah, I know it’s just an urban legend, but still…).
Better yet, label it as “Walt Disney”, and make the urban legend true.

There goes my theory that he was a Secret Chimp.
Are these guys really a single alien species? Not seeing a whole lot in common.
I think their species takes on human forms and superhero-like powers as part of an attempt to obtain humanity’s trust.
I have a terrible fear that Hyperman is going to show up.
NO, CROSSHATCH MAN!

About time we got a clear sayin’ of what the hell Link is.
