ITEM! I love how Di beams with pride because of Baxter’s passionate outburst
ITEM! Cloud, dude, you hardly know her. At least wear a firewall
ITEM! Last panel should read “Let’s get dangerous!”
Seems odd that Julie isn’t all that shaken by one of her comrades killing Will. Joseph was a hot head and she doesn’t consider the Xenos as members of AEGIS so she’s probably not surprised that happened, but you’d think she’d have more than a business as usual attitude.
I have an emotional response to this page, which I can’t quite put into words. I’m impressed with Baxter’s assertive and passionate outburst. I think he needed to get confident around Di to eventually stand up against Julie, who’s in some ways more threatening than Di.
I’m pretty sure Baxter’s wrong; Julie is not the best option. I don’t even know why he would be considering letting ANY of the time travelers lead.
I mean, yes, I still think Wiki is playing some angle, but these time travelers have done nothing but proven themselves shady and unreliable. They haven’t provided any real useful info and with Wiki’s actions it’s very unclear who’s side any of them are on.
Baxter is currently the best choice for leader, and he is miles above any of the shifty time travelers.

She’s probably seen worse happen during the years of ruin. Not to mention – AEGIS had been planning to win that fight that just fell apart. Julie probably planned for the potential to lose, as well. She’s seen just how capable the Hand is.
General Maxima (Was that her name? It’s been so long I’ve forgotten) was a peerless tactician, laying the foundations of an infinite war across an infinite number of timelines and had previously brought entire civilizations to their knees. Baxter seems to be making quite the gamble that what the General was is genetic.

“(…) how Di beams with pride because of Baxter’s passionate outburst (…)”
And here I thought she was checking out his butt…
Di is checking out Baxter’s ass, eh? Well, at least one of them is still functioning normally.
Great moment for Bax (the spot-on speech, that is, not having Di check out his ass).

Baxter EARNED that look from Di.
Indeed. Step up Bax.
Seems like Mech-Tech and Mike Dawson share a thing for giant heads.
Even I cannot predict the ammount of fan porn this page has or will spawn. But it will be glorious!
Panel 3 redefines the term “cybering”
Baxter FTW!

Wow! I’m even giving Baxter that look along with Di.

The whole “Espin” thing… still throws me. Don’t trust ’em. A bit of a knee jerk, but that is kinda the point, I imagine.

Well, genetic or significantly reindoctrinated into her with a military commander ideal in mind, which under the circumstances seems plausible
I think Dotty is my new favorite character.
