Jason completely ignored my directions to make the other attendees of the con shocked and horrified.

He argued that even a little scuffle and a light show wouldn't shake the average attendee out of his own little world. It was one of very few times he countermanded my script instead of just adding to it and clarifying it. I was glad to see him so involved.
