Jesse is still fighting from the inside… He has to be!!! So he’s just playing the role of a villein, trying to do the best good while forced into that role. So helping Marc get some good time alone might be the best good he can do right now.
Looks like Jesse is going to do some good old mischief by manipulating Marc into doing something he will soul-crushingly regret later.
Or maybe Marc, who is not shy about his own ego, thought that he would be the next leader, instead of Will. And the fact that Will is the top dog now, is nagging at him. Just a bit.
But yeah I’m still guessing what’s going on. This is why I’m reading these. So unpredictable.
No, you don’t get to brag about how much of a traitor you are. But if you planned your betrayal well beforehand rather than being convinced or coerced into it, you do absolutely get to brag about how well you fooled everyone. That’s like a writer setting up a plot point really well in advance, with all sorts of little hints and clues, and then being smug when it all pays off as something the audience totally wasn’t expecting. It’s his work of art; he totally gets to brag about people’s reactions to it.
Marc likes video games and sports. I wounder if Jess being from the future would help him with one and not the other. I bet I could beat a caveman in Gears of War, but I’m pretty sure he’d crush me at Football.
Rikk once told AEGIS’ resident witch that he hated Silence of the Lambs because Rikk was sick of every single captive villain trying to be Hannibal Lecter when he visited them on their cells. I, for one, love Silence of the Lambs, but Jesse here illustrates Rikk’s point very clearly
And I still maintain that Jesse looks just like Curious George. Especially on panel 2
A bit late, but I do believe I could see Fitz and Jesse getting along well.
‘specially since cloning opens up all sorts of possibilities when it comes to body-swapping. Clone yourself younger and mindswitch it for immortality, anyone?
I love how you keep us guessing. Can’t wait to see more.
I was not expecting this kind of behavior from Jesse… wonder what the hell he’s up to.

Oh I see it now!

Jesse, you’re not allowed to be smug about how much of a traitor you are. That’s not a thing you get to be smug about. It doesn’t work.
Was that a come-on? And was it sincere, or just to push Marc’s repressed-bisexual buttons?
Time to break out the ol’ Scrabble board…
Parcheesi?

WAIT!!!!!!!!!!! I JUST REALIZED IT!!!!!
Jess is coming on to Marc! He’s totally hitting on him!

@5ColorControl: Thank you for that, that made my day and totally headcannon now…
5Color, they’re just going to play a rousing game of Monopoly. Or maybe the Game of Life. I hope so. I freakin’ LOVE me some Game of Life.
