Wouldn’t spilling what’s left of animal blood on him heal enough of him to grow at least some organs of the chest back? Di had lots of contents from her chest carved out, and they grew back.
Also, a side note to all the people saying “maybe the hand aren’t the bad guys” – please do remember that the hand tried to kill aegies during their first encounter. Mechtech ordered the first attack.
Don’t be stupid, Rumy. Smear that curative blood you have all over your sword on both halves of your son and join him, like a PBJ. It’s not too late. Yes, yes, yes, horrible shock, trauma, all that. C’mon now. Let’s hope Rikk and Jared taught you how to think on your feet under pressure the same way you taught everyone martial arts.
Also, tell Ally she should stop tying you up so hard. It cuts circulation and prevents blood to reach your brain. It’s hard to believe it took you this long to figure out the identity of this dude who is basically another Rumy with a dong.
Also, I hope Will scolds Tiki Wiki some more. Maybe a punch in the face or two are in order. It was very stupid of TW not to cooperate fully with present AEGIS forces, regardless of whatever that hi tech magic wand can do.
Considering how little Bellhop was bothered by killing Vermith, this one seems personal to him. But then, it wouldn’t make sense for it to be, since he shouldn’t know Joseph at all. He’s just some dude on the other side.
So, maybe he’s just freaking out over accidentally killing someone he didn’t mean to kill.
A though occurs: If the General and the other humans have time travel, why not the Hand? It would explain why Bellhop is so aged: He’s the future version of Soulsun/Solson.
Well, that would explain why he’s so upset about killing Joseph. They’d be half-brothers.
If it’s true, there’s no need for time travel to age him that much. Only months after his birth (maybe less!), he had the look of a four or five year old child and was speaking English as well as one. Four years later, he might very well look like he’s 150.
Locke – quite possible. And if the spec about Bellhop being Soulson is also right, I’ve got to wonder if this is the part where Rumy goes into a psychotic rage and kills her own “child” right before her memory is wiped of the event ever happening.
Looking back at the strip where Bellhop seemed to be bissected, it’s not actually clear from the artwork that he was cut in two. He may have just taken two bad gashes to the midsection – one to the back, one to the front. If that’s the case, killing him by cutting him to bits is still very much on the table.
Also hate to double post but another thought about Bellhop’s motivations just occurred to me.
When he first coerced the Xenos to his side his “Xenospeak bubble” seemed to imply “Do this or I’ll murder your friends and family!” What if he’s under the same coercion as the Xenos and what it really said was “Do this or THEY’LL murder your friends and families?” Would help explain his remorse here whether he’s Rumy’s “soulson” or not
Bellhop’s kneeling knees are visible in the third to last panel. Given Rumy’s covered in blood and standing five feet away with a giant sword, looking at the body of her dead futurechild whom Bellhop killed, I’d say Bellhop isn’t faking.
so…. they kept this secret from Rummy? … from Rummy?
but she is covered in Animal’s blood, so I wonder if she can get into a rage at all… with the hipercure factor keeping her adrenaline and endorcrine fluids in check…
Shanna got cured from writers block just by the smell of the blood.
Rummy would even be free from “empty nest syndrome” in seconds.
Would Animal`s blood cure you from “greednesss” too? what about “social unrest”? If she swings the blade around OWS can end for good.
The Excalibur has become the meanest INOCULATOR in history.
@Drakkin the Alien:
Didn’t over-exposure to animal’s blood strongly accentuate secondary sexual features?
So what makes you think it acts as a hormone suppressant?
Rereading and this realization was really, incredibly painful: her son died exactly like Kana. Not exactly, but they were split the same way due to their recklessness. My God, that is so tragic.

That’s an “OH SHI-” face if ever there was one D=

Is Doorman Soulsun/Solson? That would explain a whole bunch.
Okay, I wasn’t expecting Bellhop to feel guilty about this oO
You don’t even want to KNOW how to use that weapon, Will.
Well, you’re going to find out, but, trust me, it isn’t pleasant. Or sanitary.
I think Stephen Bierce may have deduced it. His eyes are orange . . ..
Bellhop’s remorse is so fake that it’s almost palpable.

Bellhop’s eyes…he may have the aged form of the yellow Chiclet in him.
TW is about to find out what a screwdriver up the arse feels like.
Pretty useless.
Bellhop’s quite emotional about this…
Don’t tell me he’s Rumy’s other son she had with the Xenochiclets.
…and the OTHER guys are the real cuckoos.
A though occurs: If the General and the other humans have time travel, why not the Hand? It would explain why Bellhop is so aged: He’s the future version of Soulsun/Solson.
I think bellhop is the “soulson”… The eye color is certainly right
I am fandom’s lack of surprise. I was one of the first to suspect Bellhop was somehow related to Rumy’s brainchild.
Well, that would explain why he’s so upset about killing Joseph. They’d be half-brothers.

…this smells. I suspect there is some twist to this situation that we are all stumbling into.
@Lockez No idea why he decided to dress like a bellhop, though.
And sorry to double-comment, but I just recognized what Tiki might have. Tell me, how many of you saw the movie “Men in Black?”
Locke – quite possible. And if the spec about Bellhop being Soulson is also right, I’ve got to wonder if this is the part where Rumy goes into a psychotic rage and kills her own “child” right before her memory is wiped of the event ever happening.
Trying to heal Joseph would make sense, but this pause was just enough to make the fading of animal’s blood’s healing power believable to the readers.
I imagine the “Can bellhop die from being sliced to pieces” experiment is about to enter phase two, instead.

I find it unlikely that Rumy will be able to forgive Will for this.
Also, nice to finally confirm that Link’s head is made of the same material as the rest of him.

Yeah, about that… didn’t a whole bunch of experimental korean would-be supersoldiers die from overexposure to Animal’s blood?
Rumi’s doused in it, and doesn’t have anything to cure. That might have consequences of its own.
Nope, definitely the same Bellhop, not a manifestation. Look, his belt’s missing here.
Seems like their initial beat-down was a ruse somehow.
@Drakkin the Alien:
Didn’t over-exposure to animal’s blood strongly accentuate secondary sexual features?

Bellhop’s chances of survival -> 0% the longer he stays near that sword.
Okay, and now something freaky.
Bellhop knows Joseph. As in, instant recognition. He didn’t go ‘who is that guy?’… he went instantly ‘oh no!’
That means he’s been in the future of this, or another related timeline. He has seen that kid before, all grown up.
That means the “young adult general and carebears” is not the only crew that has their fingers in the honey jar of time travel.
Animals blood+the epiphany of your sons death=no one will survive that gets in her way.
I almost feel sorry for the hand.
Also, there’s no WAY Crosshatch Man’s wings would be able to support his weight if they’re that tiny. #UnnecessaryNitpicking
Ah, but you assume he’s not hollowed-out! He doesn’t have real internal organs, so he basically just needs eyes to see where he’s going.
Okay….where is the blood? I’m not asking for gore or anything but…clean cuts don’t work like that. Thousands of veins….
Rereading and this realization was really, incredibly painful: her son died exactly like Kana. Not exactly, but they were split the same way due to their recklessness. My God, that is so tragic.
