Those blasters have some serious plot-dependent potency. I think they might be powered by the strength of their wielder’s entry into the scene, and there could be a conservation-of-ninjutsu-like principle at work, too.
I also wonder why Jesse’s taking his time to stand there and argue that a knocked-out Bellhop is more dangerous than an actively attacking Animal.
How did Donna know where “Cuckoo Island” was located? This would imply that her teleportation powers can lock onto a destination by thinking about an object (Rikk in this case) even if she doesn’t know where said object is. Also – Rikk has spent this entire story arc in his underwear, which I find hilarious.
They have different firing modes, yes. But considering the punishment Bellhop shrugged off earlier and the way blaster shots have been bouncing off of the cuckoos in general, I find it moderately difficult to believe that they have an ‘Effective’ setting nobody thought to use until now.
Granted, Bellhop in particular hasn’t been shown to be hit with one, and perhaps ‘Stun’ has a different mechanism of action from the direct-damage attacks. It’s not inconsistency per se, but the effectiveness of that one shot should still exceed all reasonable expectations.
@Raza Not necessarily. We see two slashes appear after he’s attacked with swords but it’s entirely possible neither blow actually landed – just tore his uniform. Or, they could only have grazed him.
If I recall correctly, it has not been stated for certain that the Order of the Dragon required the Eye of Ra for all its scrying needs. Donna could have just looked for Rick. That or by random chance Jesse ended up on the same island when Donna dropped him off. That having been said, I cannot find an instance of scrying after the Eye of Ra was destroyed.
Hilda gets her power elsewhere. I was speaking of the members of the Order of the Dragon since that is where Donna acquired the ability to scry initially. Though, I guess she could have also spied Rikk’s location while she was in the orbital laser’s TRON space.
Mmmmmaybe. Yet another wildcard in Rikk’s situation. Tension building!
I really hope Rikk isn’t planning on kicking around a razor-sharp clawed opponent that can regenerate for much longer.
Holy crap, Jesse’s actually done something important to the plot!
Jesse? Man, this guy is full of surprise and mystery.

Or they just have an adjustable output and discharge settings, which totally have not been mentioned several times before.

Solsun is a human/teleporter hybrid. Neither of those have unusual endurance- I see no reason why a blaster shot shouldn’t take him down.
Jesse, you don’t joke about being a doppelganger. (Unless that’s your doppelganger code.)
I have this feeling that next panel we get to see Wheaties’ skeleton rising out of the fire and limping on one foot.
…and complaining about the pain in the diodes along his left side…
Maybe Donna somehow backtraced the portal that Di and Wheaties had gone through a few minutes before, in order to find Rikk?
I’d agree, except we’ve seen him shrug off incredible damage in the protest surprise attack scene.

Is Jessie channeling Mark? Hm….
or maybe it’s like that Goku teleport were you have to feel out the energy of a person to make it work.

do you mean other then Hilda spying on the alternated futures ? http://www.faans.com/the-end-of-infinity-15-of-18/
