Well now that Marc and Shanna know Will is possibly alive neither of them will kill Wiki Tiki in a fit of rage. Although if Link is about to unleash some power no one else knows about his survival might still be up in the air. I’m a little worried that in the end history will change, and the Hand will be defeated, but there will be losses and while Will might come out alive Shanna could be killed in his place.
Well Bellhop’s intervention was bloodless, but unless he deals with Wheaties the same way it’ll end the same way.
I do hope we find out where these guys are from before this is all over. Are they just like Hyperman or are they hybrids like Bellhop.
I’m surprised Marc and Shanna only stuttered a little after apparently seeing Will. They can’t assume it really IS Will of course, but at least they’ll try not to shoot Tiki Wiki out of hand.
From the first run, one of the few pure evil types the club faces. He was the guy who took over the FIB before Jared, and was the one with the Hellspiders. Also, the last time the FIB and the Faans are at odds.
Sure hope Tinky-Winky has room in there for a few more people and one of the branches of government because I think things are going to be going to hell in the last two pages of this chapter…
Interesting sidenote: Thanks to Mechtech currently being busy, the scenes in the White House are still being broadcast live and unaltered, aren’t they?
Huh. Maybe the Link/Mist comparison was more accurate than Shanna meant. Although, being a superpowered alien AND devil-possessed/the devil might be overkill.
Also, Wheaties, you are great. I’m not sure if the whole “teleport us to DC” thing is a trap or arrogance but I did not expect that response.
Oh, Link. Haven’t you read the Rules of Villainy? Changing into your super-powerful evil final form always seems like a good idea, but it never works.
Maybe he’ll double down on the stupid and turn into a giant snake!
Hmm, I have a feeling we’re about to find out, simultaneously, what Marc Lost on the Bad Day, as well as what the Betrayal is. Remember, the time-travelers said that the betrayal happened shortly *after* the third battle.
…ok, yeah, something may still happen, but… people. Timeline changed. We can already say for a certainty that these events are not the same as what happened in their timeline. We aren’t GOING to see anything else that the time travelers talked about. And I think it’s a pretty good bet that the events at the end of the last encounter counted as the betrayal… seeing as how that chapter was called “betrayal”.
You know, the one other option none of us have considered is that Link might be a Juggalo, and he just decided that now is the best time to show off his wicked facepaint.
@Aydr, now that I’ve re-read things, I’ve changed my mind and believe that Rumy’s rampage is the “betrayal” future-Shanna was talking about. (The Xenos’ and TW’s “betrayals” were *during* the fight, not after.) I agree that the timeline has changed, but I think it would be a cop-out to never reveal what happened to Marc–and anti-climactic to reveal it in exposition. So I think that what happened to Marc will still occur in this timeline…or perhaps be narrowly averted.
I’m kind of thinking what happened to Marc was this day going to hell. As bad as it is now, it went much, much worse in the other timeline. I think that series of failures was too much for an opitimistic, never-day-die guy like Marc to handle. But who knows, maybe something else is coming up.

Last panel = eep
Okay … who is Agent Mist, again?

Oh! Now I remember, thanks.
Link is being dense.
Okay, Link, you can be Lord Deathman or you can be Crosshatch Man, but you can’t be both. Make up your damn mind.
Sure hope Tinky-Winky has room in there for a few more people and one of the branches of government because I think things are going to be going to hell in the last two pages of this chapter…
Uhhhh… why do I get the feeling Link is about to go One-Winged Angel?
Interesting sidenote: Thanks to Mechtech currently being busy, the scenes in the White House are still being broadcast live and unaltered, aren’t they?

So here’s my question – if all of the Hand are aliens or alien-human hybrids in some way – what the heck is Wheaties’ deal?
Hmm. Hyperman didn’t look like that when he reverted to his original form.

One Winged Angel? Naw, he’s just joining Dethklock.
I was wondering what they were suddenly so shaken up about, it was only when I started reading comments that I looked again at Wiki-Tiki and saw Will.
That would be a bit distracting.
Dude, you’re dead. What are doing in his belly?
TW is preggers, that’s what!
I agree, Wheaties’ response is decidedly not alien. He’s too human. Would an alien make a 420 reference?
Ooh, he’s transforming into his final form! Let me get you some faux-Latin chanting.
Bunkus! Nonsuch! Gibberos! Gobbleygoos!

Link, the new mascot of Burger King. He’s almost as scary as the current mascot!
