@ Mike – did they actually go through with the infant or just talk about it? Jessie was still locked up at that point, wasn’t he?
@ Moebius – they look like a couple. At this point, they are pretty close to the same age, after all. All sorts of wrong, there. But at the same time … different timelines and … it sends my head in all sorts of circles.
@ Moebius: Because she is, genetically, The General and he was, IS, an Espin. Nobody who read that arc can look at them and not think about that “once upon an alternate timeline.”
@ Mike C: He will. And even if he’s too enamored with her grown-up version, she’s still got at least two parents in him and herself, and maybe more if the unit becomes anywhere near as cohesive as the original Billberg SF Club.
Also, Infant Maxi and “Marc Jr.” (or whatever Ally/Rikk/Rumi named their kid) will be around the same age growing up. Just saying, we could have another ship to christen if they proceed far enough into the future.
Moebius: the way all the losing taggers look like clones or creepily similar brothers isn’t helping. Plus Jesse alwaaaays looks creepy, and Max… er, Julie doesn’t exactly blend in either. Also, they’re getting way too much joy out of beating untrained civilians at a faux-combat game. How the mighty have fallen!
I know trained soldiers who have fun at paintball and airsoft-and it’s basically a turkey shoot for them. Their “score” doesn’t tend to be so heavily weighted in their favor, though! x3
And thus Julie and Jesse, an unstoppable father-daughter duo, defeated the local family of brutes and bullies that had been terrorizing the local lazer-tag arcade, freeing it for all to enjoy in one of the most touching call-back to 80’s films ever made.
Here’s the sad thing. I feel almost like a friend just passed away.
This comic was there for me many times when I needed a cheer or a distraction.
It’s one strip from over.
Sprocking lazer taggers.
And she did not weaponize the guns! Next weekend, paintball time.
I hope he still gives adequate attention to the infant version of her.
This image is strangely unsettling. I can’t quite make out why, but it’s sinister.

This is hilarious, but I’m still curious about Dotty and Tiki Wiki. (And why are all the other taggers brunet?)

I hope Kath is in the last ending.
As a laser tag marshal, I always smile when it shows up in webcomics. 😀 Wonder what their codenames were? Ten characters or less…
Oh wah, I thought this image was adorable in a weird way. 😛
Jesse’s doing pretty well at this, with such a small score difference.
Most of the guys in the background look related.
@volkerball – I thought it was adorable too. But I always had a huge soft spot for Jessie and Max OwO

Watching Clone High is mandatory for all alternate-reality, time-displaced, or biological clone duplicates.
I hope FiM lasts ten years and takes us through such ups and downs too, and ends this well.

@Jason: unintended result on my part for contrast against the mostly white background.
@Locke: That is my new headcanon for this scene. YES.

Well, it was fun while it lasted.
Locke, you beautiful genius! For that synopsis, I could kiss you!
I liked this page.
