This is an idea I'd like to try again sometime: a literal mind-map that shows a mind capable of working along multiple tracks without any loss of clarity. And then there are the icons in front of Thack's finger-jacks and what they imply. But I think we've probably all seen enough of the "thousand TV screens because the viewer is a genius" image: WATCHMEN did that better.
