Naturally, it goes to Shanna. It seems like I always want to enrich the characters that I feel everyone else is ready to dismiss. When I thought of Fans the series, the "minority" I was seeking to enrich was the geek. But now that we were in this geek-worshipping series, Shanna the "mundane" was the minority, so she got special attention. Why was she hanging with these people with interests she didn't like? The way she interacts with her boss is close enough to my own approach to explain why I never quite made it in mainstream journalism.
