Even the male abductees had few complications from their "pregnancy." Since their disappearance, the only damage the aliens have left is psychological. "We met a culture that understood us so much and yet so little," as abductee artist Rumiko Tanaka put it, "and left us feeling more, not less, alone in the universe."
